Experience :	I am Malaysian and I am mixed (Indian and Malay). I just graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a First Class Honours in Bachelor of Science (Mathematics). I did my PreU in Universiti of Malaya and I was the best student for my year (there were 500+ students in the whole class). I was also an assistant teacher and a private tutor in 2 local high schools while pursuing my degree in the UK. I am also currently teaching 6 IB students. I like to give many different simple examples at the beginning of the lesson and ensure that my students fully understand the simple examples before moving on to more complex ones. I always assure my students that the harder questions are just there to ‘scare’ them, but they are essentially very similar to the simple ones. In my opinion, this eases the process of learning as it allows the students to have a high level of confidence in order to tackle harder questions. It also gives them the impression that the materials that they are about to learn on that day is not really that difficult. Some quick revision questions will also be given to the students at the beginning of every lesson to ensure that they still remember the materials taught previously. I also have 6 currently doing online with me.
