| Experience : | I have 5 years of teaching experience mainly as a clinical tutor and a full-time lecturer at the university level. Currently, I am pursuing my Phd In Optometry and doing part-time tutoring for the subject Biology and Chemistry for IGCSE and SPM level. I am the type of teacher who are passionate in teaching and willing to go the extra miles to help the students. My teaching methods involve applying mind maps and other creative teaching tools (flash card and gamification) to make the whole learning process fun and exciting. My mind maps will be customized with pictures and mnemonics to help improve the student's overall understanding of the subject (formats, contents, expectations), categorizing the topics and subtopics, identifying keypoints, and developing memorization techniques. This is one of the essential teaching tools that will be the guide along my teaching process and will be crucial for subjects that have numerous context and factual information such as Biology. |
